Nov 2 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that, for now, he is not considering a deal that would allow Ukraine to obtain long-range Tomahawk missiles for use against Russia.

Trump has been cool to a plan for the United States to sell Tomahawks to NATO nations that would transfer them to Ukraine, saying he does not want to escalate the war.

Could be because of the Flamingo.....Or, he just changed his mind.

Supposedly it has a 1,900 mile range and GPS as well as INS backup in GPS jamming scenarios. The Ukes are claiming the ability to manufacture 210 per month.

A broken clock is right twice a day.

Trump is probably correct on this one. Escalating the war in Ukraine at this point would be foolish.

Both sides need to be brought to the negotiating table.

Sell? Where would Ukraine come up with this kind of money? Zelensky float them a loan?

I read Tomahawks take two years to produce.....$1.5-2.5 million a piece.
I think He doesn't want to deplete our TH stores like Biden did to the 155s.

Escalating the war in Ukraine at this point would be foolish.
The only way to get Putin to the table.
Both sides need to be brought to the negotiating table.
LOL TM

Let me think..... :auiqs.jpg:

He said he would end that war on day one. It's been 10 months.... Was he lying?
You don't know the difference between not being able to accomplish a goal and an outright lie?

You probably don't.

This is Trump's style of negotiating. He says something..... it's actually more of a threat.... then he reverses or puts his intention on hold. His game here is that maybe Putin will reconsider his stance and agree to negotiate.

More like it's your backyard, deal with it.
This is a fair argument. Europe needs to rebuild its self defense and support Ukraine. I doubt Europe or Canada will be US munitions in the future, for just this reason.
