Well there are factions; and (I can’t believe I’m saying this) thankfully the Bannon/Bolton faction of extreme conservatism doesn’t seem to have as much traction as the superficial needling faction does (aka “owning the libs”).

Its certainly somewhat apocryphal but what's probably happened is that a lot of these guys have become unwilling fathers due to Roe being overturned and where they used to get away with banging trailer park sluts in appalachia, they are now on the hook for support. Its not so much fun when your “ha ha look at what we did” bites you in the ass every month. You can expand that into tariffs, deporations (I saw where one of Trump’s latino organizers was deported the other day), and now having to carry around your birth certificate if you’re latino.
