President Donald Trump admitted in a private phone call that his tariffs blowup on European countries came after he may have been given “bad information” on troop deployments to Greenland, according to CNN.

He made the striking concession during a weekend call with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, an unnamed senior UK official told the outlet.
So perhaps trump overreacted. Maybe he didn't. In any case, what right does trump have to tell European countries who and how many of their troops can be stationed in Greenland. A man that is this impulsive is not one I want in the WH. But even if he did overreact, do not expect him to admit it or walk back his "crazy talk." Do you think our allies are tiring of having to deal with a child in the WH? I think so...

What is best for the USA.

Are those folks in NATO.

BTW: That probably was a CYA call or food for the MSM. (a distraction; so to speak)

What right? He's the President of the United States, the US Constitution vest in him all Executive power of the United States Govt. Therein, gives him broad powers to conduct foreign relations.

The president’s authority in foreign affairs, as in all areas, is rooted in Article II of the Constitution. The charter grants the officeholder the powers to make treaties and appoint ambassadors with the advice and consent of the Senate (Treaties require approval of two-thirds of senators present. Appointments require consent of a simple majority.)
Presidents also rely on other clauses to support their foreign policy actions, particularly those that bestow “executive power” and the role of “commander in chief of the army and navy” on the office. From this language springs a wide array of associated or “implied” powers. For instance, from the explicit power to appoint and receive ambassadors flows the implicit authority to recognize foreign governments and conduct diplomacy with other countries generally. From the commander-in-chief clause flow powers to use military force and collect foreign intelligence.
Presidents also draw on statutory authorities. Congress has passed legislation giving the executive additional authority to act on specific foreign policy issues. For instance, the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (1977) authorizes the president to impose economic sanctions on foreign entities.

Unnamed senior UK official = Bullshit

He has already walked back his statement to the Prime Minister of Norway that since he didn’t win the Nobel Peace Prize he no longer had a desire to be peaceful

Claims he didn’t say that even though it was signed President DJT

Like the photo of the girls with the small boobs in the Epstein file, trump knows nothing about what he said. The man would lie to his mother if she were still alive, and he probably did.

No .
Just you and other Gullibles .

Trumpfy loves his Deflection narratives .

He can take , or, effectively take over that iceberg any time he chooses .

But when you want other matters ignored , you make a song and double dance about other little things which get Sheeplets chattering like monkeys .
Sir Queer Harmer and Macaroon will always spice up the drama if asked .

And people like you finish the task for him .

Why they shipped him off to military school
Didn’t work

He says he was given bad information on a phone call

Sounds like he regrets the decision and now making excuses

Blame it on someone told him so on a phone call

weak excuse to me as he has access to solid intelligence from more than one source.

Also somone told him so and he does not verify it with one of the best intelligence organization on the planet

Blame it on youself for jumping to conclusions

Verify information before you start broadcasting it. Don't get excited on what someone told you

verify it first before broadcasting it.

That should be added to the oath taken by presidents .

According to CNN? Stop right there.

So private some anon source knows about it? You do realize if this DID happen, that would be a federal crime of eavesdropping?

An unnamed senior advisor says you're a stupid mother ******. More at 11.

Dude, really, just **** off.

Or he is comming to a realization that the greenland idea was a really bad one.

But this is DT and he has no bad ideas that he will admit to. Still the realization is there and it probably driving him crazy. Losing an election probably pushing him to the realization that he can lose. That is politics and money cannot buy it.

SO he is making excuses to himself and anyone who would listen. He still thinking about it.

Well first one would have to believe that Trumps listens to anyone or would take their advise on something he really wants badly.

Trump is a spoiled child and it is either the highway or my way.

Jan 9, 2026 · When President Trump was asked in a New York Times interview if there were any limits on his global powers, he responded, “My own morality.”

The only problem is he has no morality.

ask his previous wives and the statement he makes above. Clear reason why he should not be a US president.
