I presume this too will be overruled and why not? Portland officials are NOT protecting the rights of local citizens, which is supposed to be the first responsibility of government. They have abandoned their oaths to the constitution and it appears that this quack judge (probably recommended by Deep State goon Barr) has also a abandoned her oath.

No, it's the lives and rights of citizens. Stopping tyrannical federal thugs from interacting with their citizens is protecting their citizens' lives and rights.

Not when the citizens are actively impeding law enforcement from doing their legitimate enforcement duties.

Your notion is that anarchy should reign supreme.

Tyrannical federal thugs don't have legitimate enforcement duties. That's why the security of a free state depends on the ability to bear arms.

No, it's about protecting illegal aliens who don't even have the right to be in the country.

That has to be adjudicated, Shirley?

Oh. Right. That's only in a nation of laws. My bad.

After all, it's not like the US Constitution applies to everyone in the country, possibly excluding diplomats.

With all due respect, Cnm...the very same people who are preventing Trump from protecting citizens with the National Guard are the ones demanding that those same citizens shouldn't have guns.

And that's why the NG is deployed there.

Federal "thugs" have every right to enforce immigration laws, and the states have no right to interfere...I seem to remember an AZ case when they tried enforcing their border, and you shitlibs demanded they stop for this very reason.

If those authorities are being interfered with by "protesters" there's every legal right to disperse and arrest them.
