It has been reported that trump is now cancelling interviews because he is exhausted. This is the behavior Republicans were claining about Biden as they questioned his fitness to do the job at his age. Trump is unable to perform the duties required of the job at his age.
Recently, itâs become something of a pattern: Donald Trump is scheduled for an interview with a neutral media outlet, the date nears and then ⌠things fall apart.
It happened just this week to planned Trump sit-downs with NBC in Philadelphia and CNBCâs âSquawk Boxâ â and thatâs on the heels of him backing out of a â60 Minutesâ episode earlier this month.
âTrump abruptly ends his live interview after it is reported that he is canceling interviews because he is âexhausted,ââ @KamalaHQ tweeted, referring to a new report from Politico that the Republican candidate is âexhausted and refusing interviewsâ with less than 3 weeks to go until Election Day.
Why does this keep happening? Another outlet was recently given an explanation by Trumpâs team for why their own interview wasnât coming to fruition: exhaustion.
The Trump campaign had spent weeks in conversations with The Shade Room, a site that draws a largely young and Black audience â a demographic where Trump has been making inroads. It hosted an interview with Kamala Harris just last week.
But no interview has materialized. As Shade Room staff began feeling that feet were being dragged inside Trumpâs campaign, they pressed earlier this week to set a date for a sit-down.
In response, a Trump adviser told Shade Room producers that Trump was âexhausted and refusing [some] interviews but that could changeâ at any time, according to two people familiar with the conversations.
