Last year Chris Wray, the FBI director who Biden intends to keep in post, told Congress that “racially and ethnically motivated violent extremists” were the main source of ideological killings, overshadowing international jihadism that has dominated US intelligence thinking for 20 years.

Yet the way the FBI dishes out its resources is the exact opposite. Some 80% of its counter-terrorism budget goes on fighting international terrorism, and only 20% on domestic.

It was unlikely that a trump administration would turn on its own followers but it looks like some action may be taken against the crazies.

The Big Lie in Europe during the 30s and 40s faded away quickly when what happened was brought to light and the fog lifted.

That can't happen today. These people still have their alternative media screaming at them, 24/7/365.

We've got a real problem here.

As I predicted, Donald J Trump is still the most influential and important man in politics.
Democrats must impeach Trump because nobody believes Joe actually won. Democrats aren't acting like winners. They are acting like thieves covering up their crimes.

You would think Democrats would be leading the charge to provide evidence Joe won rather than shredding ballots and hiding machines.

I defer to you on matters like butt sex, but Trump is far from gone.

We need to stop thinking in terms of ‘rightwing extremists’ or ‘far right’ – neither exist.

What might be perceived as ‘extreme’ or ‘far right’ is in fact mainstream conservativism and representative of the GOP.

Otherwise, yes – Trump might be gone but the malignancy that is Trumpism remains – still very much a danger to America.
