rump actually did tweet this.
“This is one of the most horrible abuses of all. Those texts between gaga lovers would have told the whole story. Illegal deletion by Mueller,” Trump tweeted Saturday morning, quoting a video from Judicial Watch founder Tom Fitton accusing Mueller of a “HUGE” cover-up.
Mueller never deleted any tweets. This is a lie that Trump has told before.
Both the large 500+ page IG report And a much smaller IG report detail exactly what happened with the text messages and it is essentially the very opposite of what Fritton and Trump claim.
When Strzok and Page worked at the FBI they were issued Samsung devices, they had these devices throughout their entire career at the FBI.
They used these devices to send the now infamous text between the two of them Including a bunch of texts that were never archived in the FBI’s main system because the FBI had suffered a systematic failure to archive a lot of emails and text from variety of different agents.
When the email investigation started the investigators were able to take the Samsung devices directly from them and got the missing texts directly from those devices. There was never any evidence that any text messages were intentionally deleted.

When Strzok and page worked for the Mueller investigation during their time of the FBI they were also issued two iPhones. But they still continued to use their Samsung devices for their text messages,
When they left Mueller investigation their phones were taken and wiped so that other agents could use them which followed standard operating procedure and there is no evidence that there was any text messages between the two of them on those iPhones.
Mueller never had control of their Samsung devices, Messages on the Samsung devices were never deleted, and their iPhones were wiped after they were done being part of his investigation as is standard operating procedure Got any evidence there was any text messages on them between the two of them.
