They are USDA inspected. Why did the Feds allow that plant to remain operating under those circumstances?

Hey jackass, Boars Head had been cited several times for unsanitary conditions, so the regulations were not the problem.
The problem is the FDA or whoever was in charge who left them to continue operating and never set a deadline to comply.
