Trump EO = 20 States Stop Medicaid Benefits - Millions At Risk Of Dying

What misinformation? 20 States now are looking at freezing Medicaid, because they're no longer getting federal Medicaid funding. A significant % of Medicaid is paid by the US Federal Goverment. Trump just cut that source of funding for states off. Do you have any loved ones that rely on Medicaid?
Like I said. I can do this all night.

This little “freeze” is the opening salvo in Trump’s war on Medicaid. It is just beginning. For those MAGA idiots who think Medicaid only affects “the poor“ think again. If you have a kid with disabilities or have a parent in a nursing home, there is a good change Medicaid in paying for it.

MAGA morons voted for a return to Dickensian world of no safety net, well you’re on your way of getting it.

And Baby Boomers..get ready to get out your checkbook for that $10,000 a month nursing home for your parents or your spouse, that Medicaid program will be soon out the door if Trump has his way,

Are you denying the fact that 20 States have now lost their Medicaid funding from the Federal government and aren't going to continue providing services?
If true, why can’t those states cover their own citizens?
I seem to recall an Amendment called the Tenth.

I can’t stay silent while millions of people stand on the brink of losing the coverage that keeps them alive. The recent executive order to freeze federal grants, which effectively guts Medicaid funding, is a direct assault on anyone who depends on these benefits to survive. It’s not just bureaucratic red tape; it’s a life-or-death matter for seniors in nursing homes, individuals in hospice care, and people of all ages who require medications like insulin just to get through the day.

Seniors and individuals with disabilities in long-term care facilities rely heavily on Medicaid as their primary source of payment. If federal matching funds are paused, those facilities could lose a major portion of their reimbursement. That leaves nursing homes and hospice services scrambling to reduce staff, limit available beds, or even shut their doors. The ripple effects would be disastrous. People could be uprooted from the places they call home, cut off from caregivers who know their needs, and forced into chaotic, sometimes life-threatening transfers.

Then there are the millions of low-income individuals who rely on Medicaid to cover crucial medications. The cost of something like insulin should never stand between a person and their next breath, yet without Medicaid, it can. When people lose coverage, they skip prescriptions, their conditions deteriorate, and they end up in emergency rooms, assuming they make it that far. This so-called “freeze” on funding doesn’t eliminate healthcare needs; it only makes them more expensive and more dangerous by pushing people to seek crisis care rather than preventive treatment.

I reject this psychotic policy for many reasons. First, there is a basic moral responsibility to ensure that no one is cast aside when it comes to healthcare, especially not the elderly, the disabled, or the chronically ill. Second, it’s a reckless economic gamble. Cutting people off from preventive care does nothing but explode healthcare costs in the long run.And third, it’s the height of cruelty that we can find endless resources for corporate bailouts and tax breaks for the wealthy yet claim there’s no money for the most vulnerable among us.

This isn’t about abstract numbers or political talking points. It’s about real people whose lives are hanging in the balance. I vehemently condemn any action that strips Medicaid funding from those who depend on it for basic survival. I call on every official with a conscience, from state attorneys general to local representatives, to challenge this order in court and to work tirelessly to protect the people they swore to serve. You don’t play budgetary games with people’s health and lives. If there’s enough money to prop up corporations, there is absolutely no justification for turning our backs on the millions who rely on Medicaid for dignity, stability, and, quite literally, their next breath.

You must be under some delusion that he arbitrarily ended Medicaid. You're quite delusional.

All of that happened in the last 8 days?

Could it be liberal policy that has caused this?

Eventually you run out of other people's money?
No it was the executive orders passed by Trump. No more federal funding. The US Federal Government doesn't fund itself through taxes like State and local governments do. The US Federal Government budget relies on production or GDP, and only taxes to maintain the value of the dollar and control inflation, taking money out of the private sector. It doesn't use that money to fund itself, because it's the exclusive issuer of the USD. Production or GDP determines the budgetary constraints of the federal government.

Anyways, it was Trump who caused this with his EO to defund government programs.

So the same blue states that shut down their economies to defeat Trump are now shutting down their healthcare systems and blaming trump. Big shocker there.

Nope. In 2016 he had no clue, no plan, no experienced key staffers that knew the lay of the land, the way government works and what it takes to really throw the monkey in the wrench. Due to character and history, I viewed him as dangerous. You might remember, I have said Hillary was possibly more dangerous, while also ethically challenged or questionable, at best, she would have come with a plan, with full knowledge of government and exceedingly smart. Hence possibly more potentially dangerous.

This time, Trump has better knowledge of how government works, has a plan (2025 plan) written by several of his former staffers, knowing what they did wrong, that stymied their plans and schemes. Whether he will be or not, a few months from now, he has far more potential to be far more destructive, if that is the direction he chooses, for whatever reason, be it vengeance, reshaping world for the super rich, or simply right wrongs of previous administrations.

On the bright side, he wants a positive legacy. This may temper some of his impulses. Possibly it already has.
This is such nonsense. While it's true Trump underestimated the malevolence and sheer size of the leftwing deep state the first time, he is well aware of them now, and he's shown he can beat them. Also is the fact that many in his own party were cowards the first time around, not even supporting his wall. Now they're all behind him. Trump has shown he is the real deal. But the fact is, Trump has always been the ONE and ONLY politician who has put American ahead of his own interests. Leftwingers can't understand that, because they've only enriched themselves through their government tenure. He actually lost $2 billion of his own fortune in service to America his first term. If it were about money, he would have remained in the private sector.

Sir, there are states right now cutting Medicaid, because they rely on Federal Funding. Trump just cut that program. That's millions of Americans not having access to the healthcare that they need, including medications like insulin..etc.

"Could".... "May Threaten"... "Might" this is just another speculative fake news hit piece... let us know when Medicaid Benefits stop... because nothing in your links does...

You'll care when you need healthcare and your private health insurance tells you to F-OFF or demands thousands in deductibles or co-payments you can't make. You won't have the Medicaid option, which saves lives.

Why you worried about me all of a sudden.. why are you lying sack of s*** is what I want to know

So the same blue states that shut down their economies to defeat Trump are now shutting down their healthcare systems and blaming trump. Big shocker there.
Why do you assume it's just blue states? All of the states rely on federal funding for Medicaid, not just blue states. When you are personally affected by Trump's crap policies, you're going to realize the horrible mistake you made in electing him.

You are deliberately avoiding what Trump has stated. It doesn't fit your mantra and makes you look like a fool.

You need to open your eyes if you don’t see this “freeze” or “pause” as an opening salvo on Medicaid and the safety net.

How is cutting healthcare for millions of Americans, in the interest of America? Are you nuts?

That's how it works, and those large blue states reflect on the national economy as well. So as they did with the economic effect of the COVID shutdown, CA and NY can shutdown their healthcare systems, and 4 years from now blame the national effect of that on Trump.
