This is a good step if it means cutting off money to NGOs

But we need to cut funds to asylum seekers too
The Post article is absolutely right in my opinion when it says:
". . .The president has lauded Musk and DOGE for helping implement several of his executive orders that he argued would’ve been ignored by federal workers without the bureaucracy-cutting team in place. . ."

Without DOGE, the spotlight would be all on President Trump's "Nazi-like" misconduct or whatever. But DOGE has been so extremely effective in exposing the incompetence, ineffectiveness, inefficiency, waste, fraud, corruption in government with new revelations almost every day, the Media has been forced to focus on that. Their good work has inadvertently given more support to Trump's efforts to set us back on the right track everywhere.

Only the lowest of the lowlifes would think it a bad thing to make government work for the people again. For far too long it has benefitted mostly professional politicians and bureaucrats to the detriment of the American people.

And stopping the illegal invasion and encouraging the invaders to go home or forcibly removing them is a big part of all that.

You nailed it!

I like the improvement over trump’s first term when he was surrounded by disloyal swamp rats

Now he has a strong team of actual MAGAs supporting him

Yep. And President Trump learned a lot about how to avoid the traps the faithless set for him too. And the blizzard of accomplishments in his first 30 days has the faithless MSM/legacy media falling all over themselves trying to keep up which has only made his job easier.

With no political ambitions beyond this presidency, he has nothing to lose by doing what needs to be done and letting public opinion take care of itself.

So far the only thing I can really fault him on was that Gulf of America thing--I think that was unnecessarily dumb and divisive without actually accomplishing anything--but that was so minor it can be easily shrugged off as important.

But his actions re the migrant invasion absolutely fall within the scope of promises made, promises kept. He made his intentions 100% transparent and apparent in his campaign this time and nobody who voted for him did not expect him to come through with that.
