1. Many of us watched the Alaska meeting with certain expectations, including that Trump might lower the boom on Putin with harsh economic sanctions in order to force Russia to accede to Ukraine's concerns.

2. What is missed in the equation is simply this: for Trump, there is the a world with 8 million human being, and there is America. And the latter takes precedence.

3. Nor is Trump thinking in terms of ending this war as the only consideration. No, Trump has the long view, beyond his term: a possible future war with America against a combined Russia-China is a true danger to the nation Trump loves.

4. If Trump can end this conflict without pushing Russia further into China's camp, he will: even at the expense of sacrificing Zelenskyy.

5. This is the history that Trump understands:
Lord Palmerston 1784–1865
British statesman; Prime Minister, 1855–8, 1859–65

We have no eternal allies, and we have no perpetual enemies. Our interests are eternal and perpetual, and those interests it is our duty to follow.

  1. speech, House of Commons, 1 March 1848

Trump is the President and protector of America, not some sticky-fingered politician who sells America for thirty pieces of silver.

Trump couldn't name Palmerston on a bet.

The problem was Trump went in with no plan, no proposal, and a vague understanding of the problem, only to find he has no real leverage. He's not going to impose sanctions on INdia and China, and Putin knew this.

TACO - Trump Always Chickens Out.

Until you read my OP, I have no doubt you couldn't, you dunce.

Which consists of appeasing dictators and coddling despots.

Let's check, and see if you are too cowardly to answer a simple question.

For many years we on the Right hwve claimed that you subscribe to a party based on a foreign ideology. Now it is clear and out in the open.

The Mamdani Democrat party stands for abolishing private property, socialis/communism, anti-Semitism, and racism.

And a Dem Senator said this should be the direction of the party.

Obama has made it clear he is down with this Marxist.

If the direction of the Democrat Party, nationally, mirrors that of Mamdani, Bernie, and AOC, will you vote Democrat?

Mamdani proposed increasing taxes on white neighborhoods –
A document on his website explains the policy idea to “shift the tax burden from overtaxed homeowners in the outer boroughs to more expensive homes in richer and whiter neighborhoods.”

Mamdani is already leaning into his socialist views, telling CNN that he has “many critiques of capitalism.
….he would eliminate fares on all city buses
......he plans to address the cost of food by creating city-owned grocery stores that will pay no rent or property taxes, buy and sell at wholesale prices from centralized warehouses and partner with local vendors to keep prices down.
.... raise NYC's minimum wage to $30

"Pressed on whether New York’s Jewish population could depend on him to protect them with antisemitic attacks on the rise in the United States, the candidate answered emphatically: “Antisemitism is not simply something that we should talk about."www.the-independent.com

Zohran Mamdani’s political positions, from Trump and ICE to Israel
Progressive shocks front-runner Andrew Cuomo in New York City mayoral race with stunning upset
www.the-independent.com www.the-independent.com

... won the New York City primary race because of his support for Palestine,

I am looking for thinking Democrats, who understand what WaPo wrote:

The Post agrees, and they give the entire game away in their headline: Zohran Mamdani’s victory is bad for New York and the Democratic Party.

Where do you stand? Will you vote for Marxism?????

Another coward who will not answer whether he will continue to support a party that has become Marxist, Maoist, Stalinist.

His answer must be that he has totally accepted a foreign ideology.

This is what the Democrat Party has done to what used to be American.

Can you imagine old Joe Biden in the same circumstance?
No. Of all the things he was dumb enough to do, he was not dumb enough to put himself in those circumstances. That level of fail is reserved for Chump.

That must be why he's enabling genocide in Gaza. Just like the last one.
