Donald Trump and wife Melania are BOOED as they attend US Open on rare night off from the campaign trail

• Donald Trump attended the US Open Tuesday night with his wife Melania in New York City
• He was booed by the crowd as he exited his car and entered the stadium
• He was booed again when he appeared on the Jumbotron during a break in play and smiled and waved before giving a thumbs up
• 'So much fun joining in the mass collective boo at Donald Trump here at the U.S. Open!!' wrote actor Alan Cumming on Twitter
• Trump was also snapped with his eyes shut during the high-octane match between Venus and Serena Williams
