trump bails out Argentina

Argentina was an eye opener, inspecting the nuclear reactor in Argentina.

I guess the best part was meeting 7 Argentinian teenagers and sharing the Argentinian drink, which is nasty.Fernt con Cola

I was also shocked to see all the 1950 cheverolet farm trucks still working. I bet using old trucks saves billions.

Either way trump is right to create deals with Argentina
Especially when American tax payers will have to pay for maintaining Bessent's fortunes, for American farmers' lost markets and for Argentina's bail out.

Nothing could be more right.

I'm sure China will lose influence with Argentina by being the best customer for Argentina's commodity crops.

Fer shure.

Art of the Deal !!!

Yep..putting our farmers out of business; with Trump's help
I love seeing the MAGAts so indignantly defend harming America's sacred farmers.

But they've been thrown under so many buses they're inured to the bumps.

Praise Chump !!!

The tremendous nation of Argentina has been suffering under ultraliberalism for a number of years, but has started getting things under control with Presidente Milei.

Money well invested, Milei has already been making improvements in the economy, reducing inflation, cutting governmental waste.

This will help keep Argentina on a path to Make Argentina Great Again.
Our tax monies, TWENTY THOUSAND million dollars, 20 BILLION, flushed down the drain....(when our govt is in shut down and workers not paid, and healthcare not paid)

And while cutting the $21 billion on USAID saving lives and spreading good will, worldwide....

Kind of... The people are great... the city streets are cleaner and safer than CA... I was in Bariloche to play golf at Llao golf club when Argentina won the world cup... the bars were filled and they poured onto the streets in celebration...
Depends on which city or street, my friends say they dont walk the streets at night in their town

Is that all you TDsers got on this great Trump successful day?.... weak... very weak...

how does this hurt american farmers?
By Chump paying Argentina while it takes American farmers' China market.

Edit...don't get me wrong, I don't care about American farmers, I just enjoy the hypocritical displays as they gain and lose usefulness as political pawns. Totally self inflicted by themselves, I may add.

I have been a grower in NZ, a small, exporting, trading nation. We impose effectively no tariffs on anyone. Chump's trade war is hilarious to watch from a policy analysis pov. Not so hilarious from a trade damage pov, but hey, Orange Fuckwits will orange fuckwit.

There is something to be said for foreign aid. Argentina seems like a weird place though. Its not a developing nation, their exports compete with ours, we have access to military basses in the region of actual NATO nations...

Yep; another dumb move by the blob that his supporters will defend to the last drop.

It's crazy....there is nothing in it for us in the short or long run...$20 billion, swoosh! Just like the billion for the Qatari palace in the sky we are retro fitting, and the $200 million dollar ball room, and the near daily expensive resort golfing, and the paved over Rose Garden....

We got a real BIG SPENDER on our hands, when it comes to himself!

Where were you when JCPOA went down? Yeah, Obama let Iran get access to $150 Billion.
Uhhhh....it was there OWN money and never in our hands as if our own. The COURT after years of Iran fighting to get their money back, RULED we had to give it back...with interest. Obama's return of their money deal with them, saved us quite a bit of interest money.

While I firmly believe America should invest its tax dollars in America, this does have benefits for America going forward. The globalists want Argentina to fail and in the fight of Nationalism vs. Globalism, it is important for the few countries, who don't sell out their sovereignty to the globalists, to stick together. This currency swap could end up costing America nothing while shoring up an ally. I say go for it. It's not like Biden spending 20 billion USD on spreading transgenderism around the globe just to get his family a few million in kickbacks.

How is Argentina taking American farmers' markets 'sticking together'? Too, isn't nations 'sticking together', globalism?

Trump's Massive Argentina Bailout Set to Benefit One GOP ...

Sep 29, 2025 — Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's $20 billion Argentinian bailout is not only poised to prop up President Javier Milei's anarcho-capitalist regime with U.S. taxpayer dollars; it’s also set to deliver a significant windfall to one of Bessent’s old friends.

Robert Citrone, a billionaire who founded the hedge fund Discovery Capital Management, has a decadeslong relationship with Bessent that’s gone unreported in the U.S. press.

Legum cites descriptions in Latin American business publications of Bessent and Citrone’s friendship, including one paper that notes their “personal relationship as well as a past working relationship.” He also reports that when they were co-workers at Soros Fund Management, Citrone, by his own account, gave Bessent highly profitable investment advice.

Since Milei’s ascendance, Citrone has bet big on the Argentine economy. But amid the recent economic downturn under Milei, his Argentine investments were in trouble.

SOROS FUND MANAGEMENT?

A country that is wildly benefitting from from the trade war with.. Well everybody, by selling them soybeans instead of our farmers.

How are you right wing guys OK with this?

Trump's brilliant plant to screw our farmers and the American people is working.

His tariffs have caused our farmers to lose tens of billions of dollars.

Trump's immigration crackdown has caused our farmers to be unable to find workers, and crops are going unharvested, which is causing all of us to pay more for food.

I have informed the MAGAs many, many times that immigrants do the hard work Americans won't do.

‘The whole thing is screwed up’: Farmers in deep-red Pennsylvania struggle to find workers

In Tioga County, where President Donald Trump won 75 percent of the vote in 2024, farmers are losing patience with the White House’s promise of a quick solution for farm workers. Their urgent need is highlighted by stories like those of a multigenerational dairy farm that sold off all its dairy cows because the owner could not find workers and another where a farmer’s job listings have received no responses.
