Still talking now, bringing alot of sarcasm and levity to CPAC, in his style. Going after the failures of the past. He also gave some credit to Bernie and said he was right about one thing, "we have bad trade deals".
He even pointed out what I suggested about some news, or "fake news" in some instances: these articles come out with "unconfirmed sources", something that always makes me suspicious. Trump said, "they should be named, if you have something bad to say to me say it to my face". Indeed.
Get 'er done Trump! Save some of us Canadians worth saving, some of us want to experience capitalism too!
Trump sounds like Bernie Sanders rather than a conservative. Free trade is good for Americans. Numerous jobs have been created because of free trade. Ask longshoremen who work in our nation's ports. Those jobs would be lost if Trump gets his way. The fact is that this is 2017 and not the 1950's. Selling overseas is a major source of revenue for companies. That means that supply chains have to be global. People have more purchasing power because of free trade.
Using unconfirmed sources does not make it fake news. They provide a valuable service as no administration is going to tell the truth and Trump definitely not. The reason why whistleblowers come forward is because they fear retaliation. That certainly is true in Trump's case. The Gateway Pundit has press credentials from the White House and he is a purveyor of fake news. That does not seem to bother Trump.
The issue is trade that is anything but "free". If you believe a $500B trade deficit with China, $70B with Mexico, $15B with Canada is sustainable, than please make your argument. Each year it will become worse and America will have less and less influence on the world. Your own rights will be more in-line with that of a socialist state.
Canada alone has high wage costs, high regulations and they directly interfere in American businesses on Canadian soil, I know because I blew the whistle on these tactics at great costs to myself and my family. Does this sound like a great trading partner? It's exploitation of America, plain and simple. There is no logic as to how Canada, that does not innovate, does not protect domestic liberty and freedoms nor business/individual Right to Self Determination, is able to have a trade surplus with America. It's inconceivable really. It's called a bad deal for America, 100's of thousands of jobs stolen from America.
It cannot continue, I've said for the last year that global trade needs to be "tweaked", Trump and his administration agrees. I have been sharing my experiences with the U.S government and will continue to do so, I have nothing to lose now since my promising career unfairly was stolen from me (THIS Is the face of socialism, neo-communism that Snowflakes and alt-left don't understand, if they do, they applaud state intervention). Canada harmed me for trying to protect capitalism, free markets, due process and hold to account those who violate NAFTA. It seems there is an American government that "gets it" and I for one am glad that they do. Western values and global liberty depend on America leading the world.
