Trump asks about 'J-6 Hostages' in response to Biden's pardon of Hunter: 'Such an abuse'

Biden's move to pardon – a decision he previously claimed he would not make – turned heads across the country. In a Truth Social post on Sunday night, Trump suggested that Biden should have pardoned Jan. 6 protesters.

"Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years?" Trump wrote. "Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!"

"The failed witch hunts against President Trump have proven that the Democrat-controlled DOJ and other radical prosecutors are guilty of weaponizing the justice system," Trump's incoming White House communications chief Steven Cheung said in a statement to Fox News.

"That system of justice must be fixed and due process must be restored for all Americans, which is exactly what President Trump will do as he returns to the White House with an overwhelming mandate from the American people."

So far trump hasn't given any indication he'll pardon j6r's. Most of them are at the end of their sentences anyway so he may just leave it alone
the biden's crime family continual reliance on victimhood is hilarious. The election proved the public was tired of it

Trump is unpredictable, nobody really knows what he's going to do. That's why he makes the left and our adversaries so nervous.

J6 convictions for anything other than VIOLENCE should be referred for Human Rights violations. I can see Dems going to jail over this. Especially after the USSC decisions of late.

Agreed!

Especially the one who was responsible for security...PELOSI!
Pelosi just failed. Hard to prove she did it deliberately.

However Garland is an open and shut case. He needs to go to jail.

I think he will on day 1.

I would guess he's already looking over each case & deciding on the few who should not be pardoned.

Even if Trump pardon's them on his first day in office (and they've only got one day left of their sentence) it will be greatly appreciated and will allow Americans to finally exhale. Leaving them to languish even an hour can only do harm to the Trump administration. I mean, let's be honest.

You know when his choice of appointee is good when the Neo-Marxists start bad mouthing, making up lies and scouring the past to find something on his choices.
Like dredging up a seven year old private E-mail from mother to her son.

Do the hostages deserve reparations for wrongful imprisonment by the government?

I noticed Democrats have an entirely (D)ifferent view on Dem uprisings, like the 6 months of riots, looting and burning Dems engaged in across the country.
May 29th is their biggest hypocrisy.

Trump was sent into the bunker by the Secret Service and the ghouls on the left made fun of him for being a pussy,

They do...
Many of the obvious tourists of J6 (non-violent trespassers) have had their convictions overturned by SCOTUS already and a class action reparations case is in process.

But...the Antifa members of J6 aren't getting out. (A bit of disingenuous rhetoric by Trump)
These were the ones (along with FBI undercover agents) encouraging the breaking in and caused all sorts of mayhem and attacks on guards.

He's said he will pardon them about ten times now. It's a done deal

Should the convicted assailants who harmed a police officer on J6 be privately sued by the officer, or his family, or his union?

About that 'undercover agents' allegation ----well, what credible authoritative verification can or will the poster JohnDB offer the forum as proof of his sense of responsibility, and his ability and desire to do homework that readers may rely upon?

Trump's DoJ will establish a task force to review every J6 case and ascertain whether they were legitimately prosecuted, whether the defendants were treated as required by current Constitutional law, who deserves a pardon or a commutation, and whether any DoJ or DC law enforcement personnel should have action taken against them, either criminally or as employees of the State. Ultimately a white paper must be published explaining it all.

You read it here first.
