It is a tough call with states rights vs allowing pure insanity. The thing is, Trump didn’t say they couldn’t do it, just that federal funding would be removed. Keep in mind, this is a policy the school district has implemented. Was this voted on by those in the district or was it just a bunch of liberal fruitcakes on the boards? I find it hard to believe that any district would vote for this. How many parents of girls would be ok with a guy that thinks he is a girl to be allowed in their daughter locker room and bathroom? I imagine even most of the far-left wing nuts with real daughters would not be in favor of such.

You misunderstand. Trump sent out a clarification on Title IX that only actual women count as women under Title IX, reversing the Biden era guidance.

Title IX clearly talks about "sex", not gender or any other construct language.
