Starmer is just as desperate to sign a trade deal as Trump, but for different reasons. Since Brexit, GB needs to make trade deals outside of the EU deals it lived with for years.

Despite years of negotiations, there is no trade deal with the USA, although British markets were wide open to American trade BEFORE Trump started his useless trade war.

Watching Trump's minions heaping praise on this non-existent "deal" and Trump's great leadership and oh how wonderful it will all be, and how other nations will come crawling to the White House, was like watching a bad Hollywood comedy about an American dictator.

This whole charade was staged because NOBODY is coming "crawling" to this lying felon, or making a deal with him. Trump is going to be stuck with the deals he made the last time he was President. The ones that have seen your trade deficit increase by 40%.

It's been said that Trump has never signed a deal he wasn't prepared to tear up the moment it suited him, and we've seen evidence of that truth time and time again. Trump is correct in saying that the guy who signed these agreements he's tossing out, was "stupid". It was YOU, Donnie, nobody but YOU.

As Trump's team is getting ready to begin talks with China to de-escalate the trade war, the "Great Negotiator" tweeted a suggestion that he's prepared to lower the tariff to 80%. Just like his suggestions that Russia could keep the land they stole BEFORE negotiations with the Ukraine started.

What kind of moron gives things up before negotiations start, and you learn what the other side wants???? One who has gone bankrupt 6 times, lost the last trade war he started, and crashed the US economy in his first administration.

I worked with real estate developers who could buy and sell Trump three times over, and Trump is the worst negotiator I've ever seen. Trump just makes it up as he goes along, and it shows. Everything he does is poorly thought out, has no discernable plan or goal, and changes on a whim.
