In a Republic, actually
“The layoffs in USDA’s National Animal Health Laboratory Network program office come as egg prices reach record high amid worsening outbreak.”

An outbreak that will only get worse, the consequence of Trump’s incompetence and stupidity.

So much for lowering the price of eggs.
Couple of days ago they fired everyone responsible for our nuclear readiness and safety.

They are like a moron with a hammer.

Everything looks like a nail to them.

you didn't see the op?

Thread started with a conspiracy theory.
Hmmm....I just bought eggs yesterday. They were expensive. They weren't that expensive even at the height of the pandemic or the first run of bird flu.
And Trump did campaign on bringing prices and inflation down. :)

How's that workin out?

politicians promise, that's what gets them elected,

they rarely make them happen.

nice deflection

next time, ask a trump supporter.

Like it or not, egg prices aren't coming down any time soon.

Hey! You just figure that out, genius? I mean, they just ordered the culling of MILLIONS of chickens, so yeah, my guess is supply is down and prices will remain high.
What kills me is how you act like this is an issue, as if anyone's life depended on eggs. I love eggs, they are a highly versatile food, but part of their appeal was that they were CHEAP.

When I was a kid, a pound of bacon was 55¢ and a dozen eggs were 12¢,
that would be equivalent to paying $4.60 /pound and $1.00 now.

Instead, that pound will now cost you at least $6.00 and those 12 eggs up to $4.95.
Only a fool would buy an egg right now.

We were lied to. Years ago, we were told that centralization and automation was the way of the future to make things easier, quicker and cheaper.
Hasn't worked out that way.

Well you are old. I guess the reading comprehension skills go as you get up there in years.

What about this statement is lacking in veracity in your opinion?...you know..as Trump supporter. :auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg:

What the fuck are you babbling about now, Freaky? "Centralization and automation??".....:auiqs.jpg:Your hero promised to both lower prices and the price of eggs specifically..and hasn't been able to do either.
Eggs are expensive because of the worsening bird flu outbreak....and firing the people who oversee and report on said bird flu pandemic is EXACTLY a competent response on how you should handle it.

(That answer is obvious, Trump did it, it's ALWAYS TRUMPS FAULT to MORONS.)

Perdue and Tysons should join forces and come up with an mRNA vax for chicks. Until then, we need to be locked down until at least April

Centralization of business, government and everything, jackass. Haven't you noticed that for the past 30-40 years that everything is centralized now?
And automation, Dimrod, haven't you noticed that all manufacturing is being automated with machines putting people out of work?
I guess you just missed the pier dispute where the ports were about to go on strike because they wanted to automate loading and unloading cargo vessels too.
Is there any point of the day, you ever fucking wake up?
It was supposed to lead to our having to only need to work a four day work-week, idiot, by making everything so much cheaper, you know, no payrolls, so sick days, no benefits, etc.

Your hero promised to both lower prices and the price of eggs specifically..and hasn't been able to do either.
What did Joe Blow do in four years, assquack? He raised them? Trump said to expect it to take about a year to see food prices coming back down as he reduced the cost of energy. Besides, they are killing chickens by the millions and it HAS only been a few weeks, and Trump has been kinda busy, so try to suck it up and get by for a while without eggs, no one is making you buy them. Trump has had hurricane victims, LA on fire, plane crashes, millions of illegals and wars to deal with first, jackass. Does your pathetic life depend on not paying $3.50 for a dozen eggs? Are you really that pathetic?

Eggs are expensive because of the worsening bird flu outbreak....
No shit Nimrod.

and firing the people who oversee and report on said bird flu pandemic
How many people does it take to oversee and report on sick birds, moron? Ten? Lemme guess, you think we need 10,000, all making $120,000 a year, right, stupid?

"Bird flu" has been around for years.. suddenly it's Trump's fault?

I'm still wondering why bird flu only effects chickens

You are a complete retard. What the fuck does this have to do with the price of tea in the US???:auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg:

LOL. Without automation, we'd still be stuck in the dawn of the Industrial Revolution....oh jesus..you ARE showing your age. :)
I guess you just missed the pier dispute where the ports were about to go on strike because they wanted to automate loading and unloading cargo vessels too.
Uh...you must have missed the whole striking for higher wages part too. :)

You know, never mind. Same shit, different post with you. Do you ever get tired of me constantly kicking your alt-right ass? It must be sore by now.
Best if you stick to mewling about a stolen election. You're in your wheelhouse there. :auiqs.jpg:

Jack, did part of your brain fall out? Who was talking about tea?
Do us a favor Jack and go donate to a Purdue Chicken ranch in Delaware,
then go have yourself a nice egg sandwich, all on me--- I'll buy this time.

There are no eggs at my local store. The USDA made the bird flu worst, not better. Democrat policies destroy the egg industry and now democrats are complaining when those people get fired.

Another part of government that needs to be privatized
