I hate waste. There should be a mechanism for that food to be donated to charitable organizations, redistributed to people in need, or at least given to hog farmers to feed their animals—instead of just throwing it in the trash.

When buffets and restaurants throw away food, at the very least, employees should be allowed to take what they want.
