Trump Admin will be setting fire to enough food to feed 1.5 million children for a week

Helping the poor isn’t the govts job.
Your fair share of taxes is $60k per year. If you aren’t paying that then you are being helped by me. I pay multiple times that and could give zero shits that your measly few dollars are barely more than someone paying nothing. You go negative every year to me. Why is that the government's job to have me support you?

I pay more than 60k.

It’s not, you don’t.

I’m blown away by the indifference regarding food insecurity.

MAGA Jesus: “Love your neighbor, but only if he is white and doesn’t really need love or help”.
Where do you keep your refrigerator?? Is it in your house or is it on the sidewalk in front of your house? In your house is very selfish.... Putting it out on the sidewalk in front of your house shows that you are a socially conscious individual willing to take care of those who might need something from it. So where do you keep your refrigerator?

Oh wait I already know the answer.

I always ask the bleeding heart liberals where they keep their refrigerator. So far none of them have tried to answer.

If you guys cared, maybe you shouldn't have politicized USAID.

You make it political, you make it a political target.

And it you guys who will kill thousand innocent Men, Women and Children not to mention unborn children that you right to life assholes don't give a shit about/. The food they need to live is no longer available to them. all you so-called "Christians" who say you believe in the non-existent 'Right To Life" will let thousands die.

Barking up the wrong tree. I spent most of the last decade on a large church (500+ members) board.. we are weirdly called "elders" as leaders. Tithing, mission trips, and volunteering locally is part of my life. Ive recently rotated off the board. Im a Christian, just not an idiot.

Regardless I have a refrigerator in my kitchen, in my garage, and in my back yard in my built in kitchen out there too. Grab what you want.

Far more than conservatives.
You might consider backing up that claim.
...
Conservatives give more money to charity than liberals. That's the conventional wisdom, anyway, and at least one new study backs that thinking up.

"How America Gives," published by The Chronicle of Philanthropy, uses IRS data to determine giving patterns across the country, broken out by income ranges across ZIP codes, counties, and states. Researchers looked at adjusted gross income to determine how much people gave, and the study tracked about 80 percent of all money donated to charity by taxpaying Americans in 2012, the latest year for which IRS data was available.

While most coverage of the report has focused on the finding that top-earners have been giving a smaller share of their income to charity than poorer Americans, The Chronicle study also highlights "giving patterns," broken out by state and compared against how each state voted in the 2012 presidential election, i.e., whether it went for Romney or Obama.

Overall, the states in which people gave the highest percentage of their adjusted gross incomes were also states that voted for Romney, while states in which people gave the lowest percentage of their adjusted gross income went for Obama. The top 17 states for rate of giving all went for Romney.

Food insecurity. It exists. It hurts people from all walks of life.

Those who deny it lack empathy and should be excluded from your family, your church, your social organizations, your schools. Caveat: do feed their children if they suffer this insecurity. In fact, their children should be removed from parental control.

Yes, “food insecurity” is a real and well-defined concept used by governments, researchers, and humanitarian organizations worldwide.

📖 Definition

According to the Oxford Dictionary:

Food insecurity is “the condition of not having access to sufficient food, or food of an adequate quality, to meet one's basic needs.”

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) defines it as:

“A household-level economic and social condition of limited or uncertain access to adequate food.”

Here.........can't forget this juicy little tidbit from USA Today

The State Department, which now oversees whats left of USAID, said the cuts aren't what caused the food to expire.

So suck it up, DERPS and talk to the hand :eusa_hand:
