Nearly 500 metric tones worth nearly a billion dollars. Enough to feed 1.5 million children for a week, I'm told, being destroyed because the trump administration didn't like a few USAID programs.

This is what trump has brought us to. we're throwing food away rather than feeding starving children.

But the trump supporters will not care. They will in fact deflect or defend this, if they don't outright cheer it because those kids are most likely brown and not white.

And what will all those so-called "Right To Life" assholes do, they will cheer as it happens. Children will die. Infants will die and they will not care.
 
It's funny how things work here. Democrats can be accused of supporting Hamas, but....

Anyway, the government we have in power is sick. They would rather let food sit and rot then burn it, instead of sending it to feed hungry people. Yet we have a man as President who declares that God saved him to save America with millions of people who support him declaring the same thing.

The biscuits, which could've fed about 1.5 million children for a week, will now be incinerated, at a further cost of $130,000 to US taxpayers. Secretary of State Marco Rubio told Congress in May that food would be delivered before spoiling, but by then the destruction order had been finalized. The stuff is due to expire. Would you or do you expect others to eat expired food???

Also the food has been in storage for months.........why couldn't it have been distributed before now?

I'm usually the last person to stick up for Trump or Rubio

But the reason why this food is being destroyed on sight is because it's expired.

The reason why it didn't get sent to Afghanistan as intended is we didn't want to help the Taliban.
