The Voir dire process was a joke. Drawing from a voter and driver list for the initial 500 jurors in the pool? 96 admitting they couldn't be partial? How many of them hid their bias against him?
How could his lawyer know? I know well enough the trial was a sham, given Judge Merchan also donated to Biden's campaign, which violates NY judicial ethics rules. Given that little detail, it would have been easy to assume that it would have been a pointless endeavor to request a change in venue for the above stated reasons.

Because there was no defense to be made. This wasn't a case of innuendo or circumstantial evidence. The prosecutors' only real task was just to describe the documents to the jury that they were looking at. All signed by Trump.
Then, have Cohen testify to what he, himself did.

Bullshit. Stop looking for excuses. Trump was found guilty of 34 counts. Not one person voted not guilty in 34. votes. Out of 408 possible votes, all 498 votes were guilty. You can just stop lying to yourself about this. You don't know squat about the judge. Trump told you he donated to Biden. Funny how you say these things when in Florida, Eileen Cannon was a Trump-appointed judge who did everything she could to stp the case against him, and in Georgia, the judge and the special committee that decided to disqualify Willis all voted for Trump.
