Great in theory right? The problem is, especially in places like Toronto in which police are corrupt and engage in the most creepy of activities; the closer American police work with Canada the further their decline will be in pissing on your Constitution. Similar to what a lawyer once told me about our Charter of Rights and Freedoms..."great in theory". Nice. Thanks for having a backbone buddy.

Thanks to police in Toronto, who I have personally been threatened with being framed with a crime by an undercover, planting my DNA and fingerprints...really spooky shyte, you do NOT want to be associated with these criminals, especially after what Trump had to go through. In Europe, they look at the Canadian system as one for Neanderthals which is why they disregard us and visit America. Americans have a reputation for at least being humane and honest, almost to a fault, but it's better than being contrary to that. This is why as time passed, Trumps cases disappear. Your system is generally self-correcting (we all hope).

I don't blame my country for trying, but, our Security Industrial Complex reputation precedes us. As one important American authority told me during the Obama administration, "these activities (against me) if true, were 'problematic' in the eyes of the U.S". A fairly powerful statement and it brought a tear to my eye knowing that there are still good human beings who stand up for and believe in what's right.

Maybe the RCMP should be doing their jobs and investigating criminal police agencies here. If they can't do it perhaps they can outsource it to the FBI who have a reputation of holding bad outfits to account,

OTTAWA—The Liberal government on Tuesday sought to change the channel on the disarray within its ranks by announcing how it plans to spend $1.3 billion in border security measures.
Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc said he is proposing the creation of a “North America Joint Strike Force” to his American partners in an effort to curb organized cross-border crime.

“This new joint strike force could include, for example, support and operational surges, dedicated synthetic drug units, expanded combined forces, special enforcement units, binational integrated border enforcement teams, and new technical operations capacity and related infrastructure,” said LeBlanc, one day after he was sworn in as Justin Trudeau’s finance minister following Chrystia Freeland’s abrupt exit.

LeBlanc, who is expected to relinquish the public safety portfolio in the near future, also said the government will create an “Aerial Intelligence Task Force comprised of helicopters, drones and mobile surveillance towers” that would see ports of entry monitored around the clock.
Monday’s fall budget update, which was tabled without Freeland, included a plan to spend $1.3 billion over six years to provide a “comprehensive border security package to Public Safety Canada, the Canada Border Services Agency, the Communications Security Establishment, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.”

The document noted the need to “make clear that attempts to subvert the security of the border or come to Canada outside legal channels are prevented,” but made no mention of incoming U.S. President Donald Trump’s threat to slap 25 per cent tariffs on Canadian imports if his border concerns are not addressed.

Trump tied the tariff threat to illegal immigration and the flow of “drugs, in particular fentanyl” across the Canadian and Mexican borders.

Trump is a criminal, prick. And he ain't going to stop the flow of anything because some of his biggest donors are involved. If Trump really wanted to stop drugs from coming here, he'd put the DOJ on organized crime in America instead of wasting throwing money at deporting peope and stupid investigations because his punk ass can't take the criticism that comes with leadership.

Unfortunately you don't know what's going on in Canada. The criminal policing in Ontario spits on all that is noble.

A human right tariff would solve this within a week.
