Treason and Military Tribunals

Not easy for me to say this.
I'm not an alarmist or hyperbole person.

But....between all that is now apparent that has happened during Biden's Administration and before.

Looks like we need to have some military tribunals for treason by those involved in usurping our government.

And YES, much to my dismay I'm going to have to agree with public executions.

We have to pull the activist judges out who were complicit. Give them the same tribunals as the J6 committee and all from the Executive Branch from Biden's Administration....including Jill, Joe's wife.

They usurped an election
Had activist judges refuse to hear cases of fraud
Imprisoned innocents who complained
Weaponized the DOJ
Gave aid and comfort to America's enemies
Imported millions of illegal aliens offering American's tax dollars as incentive.
Imported terrorists and criminals .
Funded the Covid-19 lab and GOF trials
Regularly freeing violent criminals but gave cruel and unusual punishments to average citizens for misdemeanors.

It's over if we don't. America will be done if we don't do this. And when nations fall it's a slow, agonizing painful death.

But now I'm wondering how much of the official Catholic POV was coming from Francis. I have realized that there are Catholics who are not so anti-DP.

If I had not converted, my point of view would be more like yours regarding public executions for the crimes you brought up.

I'm not an advocate of capital punishment.
Corporal is OK....but capital isn't exactly my cup of tea.
I like the Catholic's stance on life. Easy, simple, and extremely clear.

It's what I expect from Christian organizations....not this wishy washy mumbo jumbo from Protestants we have today. (I'm not a very good SBC person....never have been)

But to the point.
Governments are installed by God for our benefit. (Daniel)
No matter how corrupt or vile they may be....that's why they are there. And I understand the shock value of capital punishment for Treason. So does our government. That's why it's there.

I also FIRMLY believe that it's better that 10 guilty be let free than one innocent punished. And Capital punishment doesn't allow for that.

Currently, DC corruption has been so rampant and unchecked for so long that it's time for drastic measures to be taken. They aren't going to stop just because a wrist somewhere got slapped.

Capital punishment has a sobering effect on drunken corruption. China uses it as well....it's the ONLY thing holding that nation together. Same with Russia.

EVERY nation does this. I don't like it. I wish I could unsee what I've seen. I wish none of this happened. But I have to live in this unwanted world. It's not my first choice but it's my only choice at the moment....

It's not just Catholics or from Francis. The Bible teaches grace and forgiveness of sins and any judgement from God himself, not us.

That being said.......it is hard to reconcile what our faith teaches vs the level of crime and betrayal by our so called leaders that clearly deserve full punishment by law.

One problem with our justice system is that we allow juries to decide what "beyond a reasonable doubt" means. In many cases, it boils down to "I think he did it." I think the death penalty is an effective bargaining tool for plea bargains, but it should be imposed only when there is conclusive and indisputable proof that the defendant is guilty.
