Question: How can President Trump claim to represent all U.S citizens, regardless of sexual orientation, when he banned transgenders from joining the military? Isn't that discrimination?

Some of those "standards" are there because of bulk purchases and keeping everything "equal", LOL. When a woman disguised herself as a man, and fought in the American Revolution, even after discovered to be a woman, they got a pension.

Deborah Sampson out of Massachusetts, Margaret Corbin, out of Pennsylvania, before Sampson. Then there is General Pulaski, out of Poland. Yes, Poland. Now, with DNA testing and physical examination, Casimir Pulaski can be added to the documented list of WOMEN, disguised as men, that were an integral part of how this nation won her freedom. I mean you just don't get it, without Pulaski, still awaiting his appointment from Congress, oh wait, her appointment, and what he did at the Battle of Brandywine, well the war would have been over then.

Because transgenders are under constant medical care and receive medication, they are not and have never been deployable. If they are not deployable, they are unqualified to be in the military.

I left active duty in 1994 and in 2001 they offered to take me back, but I developed type II diabetes. I was not deployable without medication, so I was not allowed to back on active duty and they discharged me from the reserve. My daughter was released from active duty because she could no longer run due to an ankle injury. She is now 80% disabled.

If you are a single-parent, you will be released from active duty if you do not have someone to care for your child at a moments notice. That is why single parents are not eligible for enlistment. They are not deployable, just like transgenders.

I was a recruiter for the Navy on active duty and for the Army as a civilian.
