Some European countries are experiencing a rise in anti-LGBTQ sentiment and policies, particularly in Eastern Europe and among certain political groups. This trend includes increased discrimination and political manipulation of homophobia, transphobia for electoral gain, and increase of Muslim immigration despite overall progress in LGBTQ rights in many areas of Europe.

There they can find violent attacks against them.
