Likely its because McConnell is as corrupt as the rest of Washington. He fears Trump will upset the establishment apple cart that he's been a part of with democrats for a long time.
Mitch the Bitch is the biggest RINO in the senate. The RINOS are like ticking time bombs, set to go off & derail the conservative agenda when ever the need arises. Three/four years ago or so there were a whopping 38 RINOS identified between the House Of Representatives & the senate. I have no idea what the number of RINOS between the two chambers of Capital Hill are today. Until the RINOS are voted out of office they can quite easily "tip the scale" to nullify pres. Trump's agenda.
