Another valuable read:

...If the stories are correct, Obama or his officials might even face prosecution. But, we are still early in all of this and there are a lot of rumors flying around so the key is if the reports are accurate. We just don’t know at this time. The stories currently are three-fold: first, that Obama’s team tried to get a warrant from a regular, Article III federal court on Trump, and was told no by someone along the way (maybe the FBI), as the evidence was that weak or non-existent; second, Obama’s team then tried to circumvent the federal judiciary’s independent role by trying to mislabel the issue one of “foreign agents,” and tried to obtain a warrant from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act “courts”, and were again turned down, when the court saw Trump named (an extremely rare act of FISA court refusal of the government, suggesting the evidence was truly non-existent against Trump); and so, third, Obama circumvented both the regular command of the FBI and the regularly appointed federal courts, by placing the entire case as a FISA case (and apparently under Sally Yates at DOJ) as a “foreign” case, and then omitted Trump’s name from a surveillance warrant submitted to the FISA court, which the FISA court unwittingly granted, which Obama then misused to spy on Trump and many connected to Trump. Are these allegations true? We don’t know yet, but if any part of them are than Obama and/or his officials could face serious trouble....

Yes, There Could Be Serious Legal Problems if Obama Admin Involved in Illegal Surveillance
I found on Facebook a report stating that first FISA request was the day after the secret lynch Clinton meeting on the plane

The whole thing stinks. It's important to remember the context here. At the same time this FISA pretext was being cooked up, there was real evidence that hiLIARy had violated the Espionage Act. That evidence was disregarding by the Obama Admin.

October: FISA request. The Obama administration submits a new, narrow request to the FISA court, now focused on a computer server in Trump Tower suspected of links to Russian banks. No evidence is found — but the wiretaps continue, ostensibly for national security reasons,

How can wiretaps continue if they weren't happening? The FISA court approved it and you say they did it for no reason? Lol...that's not how any of this works.
It is if it's illegal

It must really sting, the way the Trump admin suddenly wants everyone to forget his crazy story. His lackeys here went all out to defend him, and Trump left them all twisting in the wind.

If they had the sense of pride associated with normal human beings, they'd walk away from the Trump cult.

But they don't. Like beaten dogs, they'll limp back to master Trump and lick his boots, in the hopes he won't beat them as severely next time.
Or perhaps someone could produce evidence

If indeed Crooked Hillary is also in on the illegal wiretapping, that would be hilarionic! A word I just came up, a hybrid of hilariously and ironic. That "hil" also is part of Crooked Hilary, obviously.

very good, boedica

trump is in the snare and can't escape

You are a bit more dense and clueless than usual today, bub.

The corruption of the Obabble Admin is quite glaring. One would hope that even the Progs (those who don't totally hate America) would be concerned about this...

The only wrong doing the lefty loons what to post threads about are those they think Trump did.

No way will they ever believe Obama would do such a thing.

You can't cure stupid.

We agree. When is Trump going to produce the evidence that Obama wiretapped him? If he doesn't, he should apologize to the American people for lying to their faces, and then resign.

Trump most definitely should not do that. He is doing what he should do - deferring to the Congressional Investigation.

It's more than ironic that at the same time the Obama Admin was desperately seeking a pretext to spy on Trump after the June FISA request was rejected, they were white washing hiLIARy despite mounds of Real Evidence that she had violated the Espionage Act.

Mark Levin makes a very effective case that Obama spied on Trump et al:

Ifs don't count. Reality does.

So your claim is that Congress should investigate every lie Trump tells, regardless of whether there's no evidence for it.

Such a good party hack you are. Does it bother you at all that you're using Stalinist tactics, or does doing that make you proud?

Oh blah blah blah so sleepy ZZZZZZZZZZZ

You're all for the entire country grinding to a half over the Russian lies. Those have been under investigation for nearly a year, with NOTHING to show for it.

A couple of top trump aides have been fired and a half dozen has been shown to have had meetings. Plus the AG has been forced to disqualify himself from investigations.

Politics, bub.

These are the result of the Obama Resistance movement - the first time ever in our history that a former President has deliberately undermined his successor. Trump is onto him now - hence the recent outing of Obama's spying efforts.

No, I don't think it's Obama that is in trouble: You should be hoping that Trump is LYING.

"No president can order a wiretap on his own. For federal agents to obtain a wiretap on Trump, or anyone else, the Justice Department would first have had to convince a federal judge that it had gathered sufficient evidence of probable cause to believe Trump had committed a serious crime or was an agent of a foreign power, depending on whether it was a criminal or foreign intelligence wiretap."

And Lindsey Graham explained this when Trump made the accusation:

That is not how the FISA court works. The standard is much lower - it is used to investigate Foreign agents. The Obabble Admin cooked up a fake Russian excuse to use FISA as they knew they couldn't meet the proper standard to get a domestic warrant.

So wrong. The utter corruption of the Dems has been revealed in all its unseemly horror.

Even his strongest supporters are beginning to admit his lies "sometimes", but they always have excuses for it being OK for him to lie sometimes because someone else lied about stuff in the past. Obama or Clinton lied in the past so it is OK for trump to lie too.
