Happens. I remember driving back from Albany, NY to NH several times on the Mass Pike in Western MA when the tornado alerts sounded on the radio. Tornadoes happen..everywhere.In Hampshire county, MA? You don't see that every day.

Eastside is more prone to big thunderstorms and these will sometimes spews out a twister ... again it's rare for any damage because of so few folks who live in the High Desert ...

It is estimated by Arizona State Emergency Services that the tornado did 2.4 million dollars worth of improvements.
