Its just an awful time to be a conservative but a great time for decent people. They deserve a good kicking and I hope that it finishes off the party for good.

But the next govt then faces a problem of sorts. The labour party will have to be the govt and the opposition. I dont find that exciting at all. The only dissent will come from the few socialists left in the party.

Starmer isnt an inspiring leader unless you compare him with any tory. Whether his party can push him into doing the right thing is doubtful.

Of course the tories have jizzed all the money away which makes the job even harder. I am hoping that the joy unbounded will see an economic boom in the UK and this will give him some elbow room.

The NHS needs a rebuild. So do schools, police, courts and all infrastructure. Housing is another problem and defence. We need a grown up arrangement with the EU. Pretty much the whole of society is collapsing.
