Read that OP title again. Only 40% of DEMOCRAT voters approve of the democrat party. Overall, only 21% of all voters approve of the democrat party. Time for the left to chime in now with but but but but Trump's approval numbers. The democrat party has fallen into the rabbit hole, and they're not coming back out.

And that is where you are wrong. The Democratic Party has lost working class voters because they don't do enough to help them financially. At least on economic issues, the Democratic Party needs to move much farther to the left.

It's time for Medicare For All. And any mealy-mouthed moderate Democrat who is not on board with that needs to get the fuck off the train.

Bernie Sanders was correct in 2016...and he is even more correct now.

No surprise with the poll. The Democrats need to reposition themselves so there will be disruptions and malcontent during the process. Eventually, they will find balance. Trump will do all he can to make the Democratic party great again.

CNN did a poll right after the election which showed that out of the voters whose number one issue was to save democracy, 58% of those voters voted for Trump. YOU elected him.
