Too much science too quickly is worrisome

While discovery and scientific progress is all well and good it worries me some of the stuff we're working on when we're still so primitive we've institutionalized mental illness (some call it religion.) Do scientists working on genetic engineering who on weekends go talk to imaginary Superfriends who live in the sky not worry you too?

I am hoping for progress in anti-aging and warp drive! I think progress is a part of being human and a good thing.

We may very well fuck up, but hopefully not too bad.
