The COPS in School program [Community Oriented Policing Services] was started in 1994, and of course the republicans HATED the idea. It was even part of the reason they <flashback> wanted to shut down the government.

Yeah, they hated it alright, and Bush, on taking office, promptly shut it down. Obama started it back up again when he took office. And it was nothing at all like what Crazy Wayne and the NRA has suggested as of late.
