Tom Fitton on Seth Rich Murder – What is the FBI hiding?

Because that would appear to be the most likely explanation as to how Fox News got the idea for the story. They most likely pretended they had source in the government who just happened to tell them the same thing that Hersh claims to have been told.

It would appear extremely unlikely that either of them are telling the truth about any kind of FBI report. Hersh won’t go on the record about it and wouldn’t publish a story on it and the Fox News piece was retracted.

That doesn’t even get into Wheeler supposedly corroborating it, which appears was not truthful either.

I think I get what you’re getting at. Malia Zimmerman claims to have a law enforcement source that says they have an FBI report. Hersh says he has a law enforcement source that has the same FBI report. If those two claims were completely separate, it would appear that they’re corroborating the same story.

In the Link I provided, Butowsky believes everything Hersh told him based on what other people told him and what was found on Rich's computer. Tom Fitton should stay on the FBI for the information. Butowsky talked to Hersh, in confidence and Hersh does not know he's being recorded. Butowsky is not a reporter and it wasn't an interview. Hersh claims to have a source in the FBI before asking Butowsky what he knows. At the end of their discussion, Hersh emphasizes he doesn't have first hand information and it's not corroborated.

Butowsky believes the story because he badly wants to believe this story for political reasons. Butowsky doesn't have any other information that corroborates this. Butowsky pushed Wheeler to be a source for the Fox News article, telling him lies that the White House was on board and wanted this published. Before it was published, Wheeler needed to corroborate the reporting from Malia Zimmerman, which he did for the story but that was a lie told under pressure from Butowsky. Wheeler had no FBI source.

The Fox News story was a lie. There's very little chance that any federal investigator talked to Malia Zimmerman. Wheeler says he has no source that makes the claim either. Hersh states he doesn't have any reason to believe the FBI report even exists as he's never seen it and it's never been corroborated. If I had to guess, Hersh was lying to Butowsky about his source to get Butowsky to tell Hersh what he knew, to get a lead. What's especially ironic is that Butowsky claims to have a source talked to Assange and told him that Seth Rich was the source, but that person (another Fox News contributor) claims that she never said any such thing and never talked to Assange about it.

There is no story here, just a bunch of liars. Fitton is chasing a lie.

You know why I think Fox News lied? Because they retracted the story.
