I have been in Jerusalem a few times much different than you might think. Even East Jerusalem is not as scary as the head lines. THere are nice people all over the place. It is not as if I have ever made a decision or advocated making a decision about how nice a person is based on their ancestry. I don't care about your ancestry.

OTOH, if you use your ancestry to gain priviledges that I can not access, then I have a problem with that. When people are held to be priviledged due to their ethnic heritage, that is racism.

If Israel wants to accept Jews as citizens due to their religious beliefs, that is fine. At least they stand on the grounds of a common belief system. But that is not the way it is. Israel openly grants priviledges based on RACE. They hold preference for people of a particular ethnicity. You don't have to be religious or believe in anyhting for Israel to extend priviledges to you that others are not qualified for on accouint of their race. Israel will take an Athiest, MURDERER and give him citizenship, access to the Israeli judicial system and what's even more troubling, Israel WIL NOT extradite MURDERERS back to the US, their best friends. Why? Becasue it is a Jew in question.

We DO NOT tolerate this behavior from anyone else and continue to support them to the tune of billions of dollars annually.
