Pathetic polling numbers in the red state of Texas. He's not even close to 50%. Maybe it's time for him to retire in Cancun.

---Poll: Sen. Ted Cruz in statistical tie with 2 Texas Democrats---

I thought Texas was a red state.

Those polling numbers for Cruz v Allred are close. Ted may have to pack it in.

This is what rode in on Beto's coattails in Harris Co. (Houston) TX when Cruz ran last time.....And from all indications they have been a fuckin' disaster as judges.

Virginia is a cautionary tale for TX.....By and by it's the population centers (like NOtVA here) that control a state.

When the first US senate seat is lost it's starts a domino effect. That and TX is reaching the critical point of more transplants than natives.

Pretty much all of TX's population centers are blue.

Sadly vast amounts of scrubland don't vote.

Texas is turning purple thanks to immigration and anchor babies. Republicans have only themselves to blame for it.
