Most of those on the Left would consider me far too conservative. While many on the Right would consider me far too liberal.

The ability to upset people people on both ends of the political spectrum is my sweet spot.

You and I have that in common. It's enough to bring a smile to ones face.

My post #126 is how I stand, not lean. People ignore that video for some reason. But IMO, it's probably THE most accurate I've seen. It almost makes the left vs right irrelevant.

It is over, one way or the other; and the Left is worried. Either they indoctrinated enough people, or the backlash is going to be uncontrollable for them.

With 75 million voters going against them, and states insuring they gotta show up to cast a vote, I would say the party is over for the Left. And if it isn't, then they can explain inflation, loss to China, and everything else going on.

They are the biggest phonies we have ever been witness to, and that is an understatement. They are going to lose the House and the Senate in 2022, and have no chance unless in 2024 Trump is the nominee. They better kiss his butt to run and make it about him, because they won only for the fact they got votes against him in 2020, and NOT for Biden. And it is still up in the air if they could win in 2024 if he was the nominee.

If he isn't, they are post toasties, lol. So if they want an even chance, they better try and prod him into running!

Make no mistake, no matter what you think about the left, they will continue to have majorities in our government. Red states will still turn blue, democrat presidents will still get elected. And the opposite will happen. It's been that way for over 170 years, since this two party duopoly started.
And it won't be because the right is not as good as the left, or visa versa. It's simply because we have a two party system. And neither party is actually better for the majority of "we the people." If they both didn't suck, the actual better party would take the majority and keep it. The other party would vanish.

They were not all unarmed and they weren't going to the capital for a peaceful protest. They carried a variety of weapons: stun guns, pepper spray, baseball bats and flagpoles wielded as clubs. They were doing far more than waving flags. They invaded the capital with threats of violence toward congressmen and stopped a session of congress. No congressmen were harmed do to the rapid response of capital police. 5 people died (1 shot dead, 1 from drug overdose, 3 from natural causes). An unknown number of insurgents were injured at least five hospitalized and at least 138 police officers (73 Capitol Police officers, 65 Metropolitan Police Department officers) suffered injuries including at least 15 hospitalized. Of Trump's "great patriots", 510 have been charged with various crimes.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about guns. There was no shots fired by the protesters. (from what I know) Although Capital cops fire on and killed at least one protester who was climbing through a window. A veteran, of all people.
Not taking up for the protesters. Stupid people, playing stupid games and winning stupid prizes.

I think we all know they wasn't there to "take over the government." They were there on what could be said as more of a vacation. A political rally that got out of hand because they thought it would be some "in your face" fun. They all knew they had a bridge party or a tee time in just a couple of days, they couldn't miss.

That's the difference between these people and say antifa. I think a lot of antifa people just people with little to no jobs, who are so caught up in politics, that it's consumed their brains. Partially because they have nothing better to do. The insurgents, for the most part, probably have half way decent jobs, mortgages, car payments and an actual life. But are also so caught up in politics, that it's consumed their brains. But no so much that they don't have other stuff to do. Like work, make dinner, mow their lawns. etc etc etc

Unlike groups that were part of the attack on the capital, Proud Boys, Boogaloo Boys, 3pcters, 11pcters, Oath Keepers, and NCC-131, Antifa to my knowledge has never launched an attack on the federal goverment. Also they aren't a national organization. In fact they pride themselves on not being organized. As a spokesman for the group in Portland has said, "To be a member of Antifa, just stand up in opposition to facias groups."

Yes, the attack on capital was stupid but don't think for a minute that these people were not serious. They were there to do what they could to overturn the election and to them that meant stopping congress from acting.

I can't imagine the moronic thoughts that went through the minds of some of those die hard insurrectionist. Thoughts of how millions of people will join in and come to the fight in support of them. They probably had dreams of becoming the next president. Made speeches to themselves in the bathroom mirrors.
All the while most Americans, even those that might have somewhat supported their cause, were playing golf, shopping, cooking dinner and all the other everyday life things that go on with normal people.
Honestly this whole thing just seems a little staged actually. According to just about every news source, the capital police knew about it beforehand. There's even video of the capital guards opening a gate and letting some in.
