It's not his age. His body has been through dozens of surgeries and that was his first competitive tournament in many months. He's got a hardware store holding his bones together.

People will tire of watching him lose soon. His son will be a draw for a while, true. He is at the age where most pro golfers need to start as well. Daddy can afford the $100-$200 grand a year needed as a kid to be a champion by age 25-30, with the rise in cash needed by his teens and then way more on the tour circuit. A decent caddy alone will run a million a year.
