Your party lost hundreds and hundreds of seats throughout the country the last eight years from the federal level right down to city levels. The more "progressive" you are, the more people you lose.

Even your voter base is getting uninterested. They are not coming out to vote.

Trump is the most controversial candidate in our lifetime and perhaps history. So it's not that unexpected that we did lose some seats, but nothing damaging to the leadership.

Can't blame you for trying to find that silver lining. But the Supreme Court (and courts across the country) are ours. So even if there is a turnaround, and you ever regain power again, there will be many hurdles to stop this advancement of Socialism/ Communism.
