They knew the perp was armed and dangerous and were looking for him, for him to pull out his gun and get the first shot off was bad policing, and the cop is very lucky he was not shot. He should have blasted the perp once he saw him reach but waited for him to shoot first.

Cops have to worry about people like you, who hate them, advocating for charging every (white) cop involved in a shooting with premeditated murder.

It makes them hesitate.

Cops have to worry about very stupid people, like yourself, because they cannot make logical decisions.

You can thank the media and the political left for that.

Dindu Due

Isn't that due process, the thug is innocent until he shoots first?

Wasn't the cop showing good manners? Like in baseball, the visiting team bats first.

On a Dead Run

Stop or I'll Shoot is the only due process that works. Otherwise, both cops could have been killed.

All the psycho-babble aside, this officer needs more training, in fact, this needs to be used as an example of how being indecisive can cost an officer his life. He was very close to getting hit, I hope he was wearing a vest but he should have blasted that dude before he got a shot off.

If he waited for him to shoot first, the cop would have been dead.

This was good police work.

I thought you just said the cop should have allowed the perp to shoot first.

Good thing the thug was a bad aim.
