Thomas Massie goes all-in with Trump….How many Libertarians will follow his lead?

“He has even committed to freeing Ross Ulbricht who was wrongfully sentenced,” he continued, referencing the founder of the illegal online drug marketplace Silk Road, who was sentenced to life in prison in 2015. Trump pledged earlier this year to commute Ulbricht’s sentence if he is reelected.

"Well he lied to us last time, but I believe him this time".

Hold on…I thought you Lib-lites were big fans of Massie?

Never heard of him, why would I be a big fan of his?

Odd that you find it newsworthy that a Repub is going all in on Trump....that seems to be the default position for all of you
Massie is considered to be a Libertarian Republican….All the Lib-lites I know love the dude.

It’s important to recognize that libertarians are a significant element of the Republican Party. They want lower taxes for everyone. They want to put flabby bureaucracies on a diet.

They say they do but in practice they don't. 7.8 trillion in new debt under Trump.

So why would they be a part of the Repub party if they wont those things since the Repubs never vote for those things

Trump’s debt is largely because of Covid spending.

And Biden’s debt is much larger.

No, Biden's debt is not much larger. But always with the excuses.

Dismissed.

The Republicans don’t want to cut bureaucracy?

The Republicans don’t want to reduce taxes?

The Republicans don’t want to cut bureaucracy?

they talk about it a lot, but in the end it is always just talk.

Just like them talking about cutting spending, when all they really do is add more and move it around so they can go "look, we cut this one agency"

Words. Empty words. Already covered. When he had the chance he in actual practice signed off on $7.8 trillion in new debt.

and pushed for bigger checks to be sent out than even the Dems wanted.

I didn't say it didn't go up. I've condemned every single Biden program that wasn't paid for. I'm not voting for Harris and I'm not making excuses.

You are.
