Thom Tillis reintroduces the Protect & Serve Act, co-sponsored by Hawley & Cotton, which would create federal penalties for folks who harm policemen!

the only good thing Tillis has ever done. a broken clock is right once a day

It's useless bullshit. They already put you under the jailhouse if you even touch a law officer. Just a bunch of republicans trying to act like they love cops after their useful idiots beat the hell out of a bunch of them on 1/6.

So now we gotta protect and serve the police instead of the other way around?
at least tell them "thank you for your service"
Why? They picked the job, and besides, the courts have ruled they have no duty to protect citizens any more.

.

As soon as all types of immunity for police officers are done away with, I'll consider some form of that type of consideration for LEO's. Until then, which will never happen, LEO's should be treated in LAW as any other citizen is treated for their conduct without carved out exceptions and immunities!
