This site the past few weeks has gotten increasingly laggy.

Either some archiving needs to take place, or you are having issues with one of the - MANY - adbots.
At times it gets unusable.
There is no connection issue as there is no latency when pinging the server when the lagging occurs.
My bet - is one of the adbots is churning and churning.

First time I agree with you knuckleheads. It does freeze up on multiple devices for me with infinite load times. Where is my $25 a year going? Lol

Yep - i did the same. It get's unusable.
I can be wrong, but I have noticed that during the lag a stupid bot is what is trying to load

They're not always adbots.

Some bots are just plain malicious.

Cloudflare has good bot managment tools, but you have to pay for em and manage them, I think.

And, of course, have the necessary skillset and proper level of give a damn to implement them on your web site correctly.


But yeah, it has been running like crap lately.

They're not always adbots. .... But yeah, it has been running like crap lately.

Whatever it is, it's a pain in the neck. Often when I click on "post reply" nothing happens. How long should I wait before I:

1). Click again?
2). Leave it and go look at something else for awhile?
3). Shut off USMB and forget about the thread?
