Like I said, it depends on the beer and the source.
I'll explain. When pouring any beer (except Belgian) from a bottle
is a waste of time because the flavor has already been killed.
All botled beer (again, except Belgian) is pasturized which kills the
bacteria that beer should have to obtain maximum flavor, so it really doesn't
even matter how you pour it. Tap beer on the other hand, is not usually
pasturized in the same manner and should be poured down the center which
makes it near impossible to get a perfect head (Usaully produces too much).
It's a bad situation any way you look at it.
