Yeah....before they caught this felon, he wasn't going through background checks, registering his guns or worried about magazine bans....and he was shipping these un background checked guns, without registering them and sending them with "high" capacity magazines to an island nation with more gun control than the rest of the United States.......and the Puerto Rican criminals were not getting background checks, registering their guns or making sure they only used 10 round magazines......

Felon gets five years for unregistered machine gun he bought from undercover agent

After his arrest, Soto-Lopes told agents that he had illegally shipped firearms and weapons from Florida to Puerto Rico using mail or commercial carriers, including the shipment of a grenade launcher.

During a search of his residence, agents found numerous other guns and ammo, including five Glocks and a shot barreled rifle, which they also recovered.

Under federal law, Soto-Lopes was prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition because of a previous felony conviction in Puerto Rico.

Neither the silencer, the machine gun, conversion devices, nor the short-barreled rifle were registered to Soto-Lopes in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record, as required by federal law.

You anti gunners are delusional.......they caught him in a sting, not with a background check or a registered gun....now they can put him away for a long time......but they won't.......

Our government got itself caught up in its own gun sting, one they launched! Operation Fast and Furious. So, yes, gun control is pointless. If an undercover agent can sell a gun to a felon on the street, then what makes liberals think that by making a law to regulate gun ownership it will stop this activity? Newsflash: it won't.
