At some point you move on from what was to get to what is and what will be. If Lewis did do anything he was part of a movement to better a group of people. We have not moved on from that. We have institutionalized poverty and lowered standards for education and employment to the point it is hurting the nation as others are catching up and surpassing us. Thus, as to making those in groups look not as good who are excellent. It is healthy to have representation in the major parties from racial groups. Politics separated people.
