... beyond poor conditions. unbelievably bad decision making, short staffed, poorly trained and unequipped.
And this is the same people who half of America wants to run our healthcare system.
Nearly 70 veterans killed in 'horrific' outbreak at Massachusetts elder care facility
This is what happens when a Republican government runs anything.
NY, 301,000 cases, 23,000 dead. NY leads the nation in infected and deaths. Cuomo, democrat.
USA with 3% of the world's population, has nearly 1/3 of the all of the confirmed cases in the world, and you still haven't tested 2% of your population. The USA leads the nation in infections and deaths.
This isn't a "state emergency", and thus the response isn't lead by the President and his Administration, not the state. Furthermore, states like Florida and Texas aren't even testing because they don't WANT to add to the number of cases. It looks BAD for the President. Party over country. Every. Single. Time.
Donald J. Trump, worst public health crisis response in the world. The supposedly "best health care system in the world", a total disaster. Unprepared, unequipped, underfunded. Still no national testing system, no PPE's for fatigued and sickening health care workers and other essential workers, and now the Administration is try to force workers in meat processing plants to go back to work in unsafe conditions. A total Republican clusterfuck.
Trump has washed his hands of all responsibility for this mess and told the states they're on their own in terms of testing, and preventing the spread of this virus, because he doesn't have a fucking clue of what to do here.
The blue states are organizing regionally. Maybe it's time to cut the red states loose and see how long they last without the economic engines of the blue state tax base. Let's see how long Texas wants to funnell their tax dollars to the "taker" states like Kentucky, and all of the Dixiecrat states.
