Last time Trump was in power, the GOP refused to repeal and replace Obamacare and build a border wall, two promises they all ran on.

I will believe it when I see it, and maybe not even then.
John McCain is guilty of stopping Trump end Obamacare.
Trump built over 500 miles of border wall though the Democrats worked day and night to stop him.

Duke is not America's friend. Neither is Trump nor Musk.
What Government do you like Slow Horses? Because both Biden and Obama promised to do what Trump is doing right now. Only Trump is effective.

What improvement has DOGE discovered?

This is good.

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, recently announced that it discovered $4.7 trillion in Treasury payments that were missing a critical tracking code, making them nearly impossible to trace. This code, known as the Treasury Account Symbol (TAS), links payments to budget line items1. Without it, tracking where the money went becomes very difficult.

DOGE has made the use of the TAS code mandatory to improve transparency and ensure that funds are spent as intended. This discovery has been touted as a significant step towards improving Treasury payment integrity1.

I'd like to see a standardized auditing system used across all departments. That may be what they're doing, or something close to it. I've seen first hand how a complete lack of standardization makes a fucking sloppy mess of the several different health care payment/delivery "systems" (ha) that we have. Coding, billing, contracts, etc etc.

I remember many years ago, hearing about "$250 toilet seats" for the first time. There was some level of outrage, but it mostly got buried in the noise. I guess we'll find out how much real progress has been, assuming that these investigations are being done in the right way and for the right reasons. That remains to be seen.
