The opening post questioned why anyone would vote for Romney based solely on his style. There was no questioning of his substance. Nothing about what policies he would or would not enact or eliminate. Just a criticism of his style, with the implication that should be all we need to know not to vote for the guy.

It speaks volumes about how much attention some people really devote to the most important decisions of the day. It also explains why politicians have to spend a lot of money on personal stylists.

I bet most people on this forum don't even know what Obama is planning on doing in the next four years. I bet they don't have a clue. But whatever you do, don't vote for the robotic guy!!!

I didn't see anything about style. I saw a man who is more dishonest than possibly any other politician in recent history.

Seriously, we're used to politicians showing us one face. In fact, its something we all do - a public face and a private one. I don't really object to that.

If you want to talk "substance", there is none.

Mittens has done nothing.

He made a pile of money by stealing companies and firing people. He "saved" the Olympics by getting the biggest bail out in Olympic history which means the tax payers bailed HIM out.

What else has he done?

Like Bush, he was failure as a governor and now disavows the only real accomplishment he had. And, if public opinion were to shift, if people were to wake up and demand decent health care, you can bet he'd be crowing about what a success it is in Mass.

Forget it. There is nothing about this man that makes him president material. In fact, just the opposite.

The last thing we need is yet another wealthy ne'er do well trying to prove to his daddy that he can do the job of a real man. And, hell, in this case, daddy is mostly dead.

Earlier in this thread you said that it was impossible to know Mitt's positions because he changes them all the time. So what is it. Are his plans for us damn scary or unable to pin down?
