You can bet your right arm that the FBI were the stars in this investigation. They focus on REAL crimes and do not need to manufacture them as TPS, Peel Region (the local police force who were SUPPOSED to be responsible for this crime).
Peel Region police are as corrupt and abusive as they come. Keep them away from your kids...

U.S. authorities say that a Brampton man has pleaded guilty to spearheading a criminal organization that trafficked hundreds of kilograms of drugs from the United States to Canada.
Guramrit Sidhu, 62, pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of engaging in a continuing criminal enterprise, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Central District of California.
According to his current plea agreement, he led an organization responsible for trafficking drugs from the U.S. into Canada for distribution from September 2020 to February 2023.
U.S. authorities say the criminal organization trafficked methamphetamine and cocaine worth as much as $17 million into Canada in a one-month span between September and October 2022.
“After buying the bulk quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine in the U.S., Sidhu arranged for the narcotics’ transportation into Canada via long-haul semi-trucks for further distribution,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office said in a statement. “Co-conspirators then retrieved the cocaine and methamphetamine from locations within Canada for further distribution.”
Authorities say couriers used telephone and serial numbers on bills of currency “for identification purposes during the delivery and transportation” of the drugs.
U.S. authorities said in a Thursday news release that Sidhu was the lead defendant in a 23-count federal indictment targeting the drug-trafficking organization.
Sidhu was extradited from Canada in October 2024 and has been in U.S. custody since then.
The FBI said the Brampton man is the seventh defendant to plead guilty in this investigation. Other defendants have faced sentences in federal prison ranging from a 27 month term to 108 months.
His sentencing hearing has been scheduled for July 9, where he will face a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years, up to life in prison.
The investigation included the FBI, the Los Angeles Police Department, the RCMP, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and authorities in Mexico, the U.S. news release said.
